1. Who we are
This policy applies to Dragon Flare Marketing Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), registered in England & Wales, company number 16072647. Our registered office is Office 5 Sycamore Trading Estate, Blackpool, FY4 3RL. We are the controller of the personal data described here and handle it in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Questions about this policy: dayle@dragonflaremarketingltd.co.uk.
2. What we collect
- Enquiry details: the name, email address, company and message you enter in our contact form, or send us by email.
- Technical data: when a page loads, your IP address and browser details are visible to our hosting provider and to Google Fonts (see section 5). We do not use analytics.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data. Please do not include any in your message.
3. How we use it, and why
- To reply to your enquiry: legitimate interest, and steps you ask us to take before entering a contract.
- To provide our services, if you become a client: contract.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations: legal obligation.
- To send you marketing: only if you have asked for it, on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
4. Cookies
This website does not set cookies of its own and does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
5. Who else handles your data
We do not sell your data. These providers process it for us, or receive it when you use the site:
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) passes your contact form message to our inbox by email. It may process it outside the UK.
- Google Workspace provides our email, so your enquiry and our reply are held there.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site, so your IP address and browser details are sent to Google when a page loads.
- Cloudflare provides our hosting and DNS.
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, and authorities where the law requires it.
Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards that provider offers, such as the UK’s approved transfer mechanisms.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries: as long as we need to answer and follow up, then deleted.
- Client records: as long as UK tax and company law requires business records to be kept.
- Marketing consent records: until you withdraw consent.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. We do not make automated decisions about you. To use any of these rights, email dayle@dragonflaremarketingltd.co.uk. We will reply within one calendar month.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and the site is served over HTTPS.
9. Links to other sites
This policy does not cover other websites we may link to. Please read their policies.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would like the chance to put it right first.
